First Baptist Church of Goodfield observed Clergy Appreciation month in October. On October 1 the church recognized both Pastor Tom Doubleday and Youth Pastor John Ramsell and their families. The church also celebrated Pastor Tom's 5th Anniversary of his ordination. He was given a plaque for his Anniversary.

Former Area Minister Gary Reif brought greetings. Current Area Minister Richard Ricks sent a letter of congratulations. The church sponsored a luncheon in honor of their pastors immediately after worship.

On October 8 the youth of the church specially recognized Youth Pastor John and his wife Amy for thier dedication to the youth.

Throughout the month of October First Baptist of Goodfield had a set up a special mailbox in the church to receive cards and notes for the Doubledays and Ramsells.

A night is being planned by the ladies of the church to honor Cheri and Amy - the pastors' wives.
